Lemon verbena originates from South America, Spanish sailors brought the plant to Europe. In Portugal, lemon verbena can be found in many home gardens.
The fresh leaves exude a delicate lemon aroma. The tea can be drunk hot and cold in summer and winter. In addition to being prepared as a tea, the herb can be used to flavor and refine desserts, cakes, jellies or even for heartier dishes such as fish and seafood.

In their home countries, lemon verbena is drunk for digestive problems, so try a cup of lemon verbena tea as a digestif after a meal. The tea has no stimulating effect and can also be drunk in the evening.

Organic Lemon verbena leafs (PT-BIO-02)
Gently dried and handpicked:

Preparation:
For one mug pour 1-2 teaspoon with boiling water and brew for maximal 10 mnutes.
Cold extract: Add one tablespoon of dried leaves and 1 slice of lemon or lime to a carafe of cold water and leave it in the fridge for a few hours.
Enjoy hot or cold!

Storage:
Store in cool and dry place away from sunlight.
