Essential Oils
Plants produce essential oils for different reasons: to attract insects, to repel pests (plants can also produce more oil to warn other plants) and to protect themselves against stress and diseases. The antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal characteristics of essential oils make them so powerful to treat skin and respiratory problems.
The more intensive the solar radiation is, more essential oil is produced. We harvest the plants by hand around midday to get a high content of essential oils. We distill the essential oils in a traditional copper alembique.
The plants for distilling are from organic farming or wild harvesting at selected places.
